Exploring Cambodia

Cambodia is one of the most visited countries in South East Asia. Approximately 5 million tourists visit this country every year. Because of their rich culture and traditions, Cambodia continuous to lure travelers all over the world and leave them awestruck with their history especially in religion and war. The world famous, largest religious monument in the world, Angkot Wat contributes colossal revenues to the Khmer economy, and being in Cambodia without visiting this precious place will not validate your trip. My budget for this trip is $200.00 (P10,000).

Listed below are some of the places I visited last December 2017

SIEM REAP

TEMPLES

I booked an activity via Klook for this trip which cost around 600 pesos, including service van with pick-up from your hotel, tour guide and a bottled water. The ticket in Angkot Wat is not included (which cost $37 for one day, $62 for 3 days and $72 for seven days). I only bought a 1-day pass because the tour only includes the three temples listed below. #IMO, 1 day in Angkor Wat is enough, but if have a huge fascination in temples, then you can avail the 3 or 7 day pass.

ANGKOR WAT

Sunrise in Angkor Wat - one of the most majestic views a person would ever witness in his entire life, and I am lucky to be one
Sunrise in Angkor Wat is one of the most fascinating moments I've witness in my entire life. Tip: Be as early as you can to be at the perfect spot. We arrived around 6 o'clock in the morning which is already considered late. There are many tourists already in Angkor Wat as early as 5 o'clock and it's hard to find a good spot to witness this amazing view and to take pictures.

After the sunrise, the tour guide lead us inside the Angkor Wat. The design of Angkor Wat is amazingly symmetrical. I don't know how they did it but it is just beautiful!

BAYON TEMPLE

 TA PROHM TEMPLE

The infamous "Tomb Raider"temple, as many called it, is one of the most visited temples in Angkor complex.

PUB STREET

The place in Siem Reap that never sleeps. Pub Street is a road full of bars and restaurants. This is where people drink till they drop. People are dancing in the middle of the street like there's no tomorrow! I also found the best draft beer which only cost $0.50. This is a must-visit place for party-goers or people who just wanna have fun.

Khmer Family is a diner/ bar establishment located in Pub Street. The interior gives you a very relaxing aura.
The best draft beer I've tasted in Siem Reap for only $0.50.
